The lift-and-slide door system, with its construction depth of 82 mm, impresses with sophisticated design features, versatile functionality and excellent thermal insulation.

Salamander developed the new lift-and-slide door in response to market demand for efficient thermal protection combined with large glazing areas, generously-proportioned elements and solutions that offer unimpeded access. The new range builds upon the performance features of the Brügmann bluEvolution 82 system, completing the system portfolio with a construction depth of 82 mm.
Dominant features of this 5-chamber construction are the slim visible widths, excellent thermal insulation properties and efficient manufacture. Optimised sealing levels, particularly in the middle section, help to reduce structural thermal bridges.
Alongside the efficient production and user-friendly assembly, this intelligent system structure offers a further benefit. The lift-and-slide door is compatible with all popular threshold systems and their variants, including high and low tracks, barrier-free thresholds and track carriage versions for different overall weights.
To meet the demand for generously-dimensioned elements, particular attention was paid to optimum stability in the construction. A stepped reinforcement concept forms the basis for a solution which both meets requirements and offers best value for money. The structurally balanced construction also accepts glazing units up to 52 mm thick.
In terms of design, absolutely nothing is left to be desired. High quality foil coatings are available in numerous standard colours and decorative finishes, as are individual RAL colours to coordinate perfectly with a project’s architectonic style.
As a further extension to the range, aluminium claddings are also available.
